A Late Post

This weekend is race weekend in Charlotte which means getting out and about in Kannapolis may not have been very possible!

The silence comes from the Memorial Day weekend, I was out of town visiting family. Before I go to this weeks (Race Related) things to do in Kannapolis I want to provide you a chance to help Kannapolis out. My goal is to use profits from my book sales to open a store that will bring money to the local artisans and craftsmans. IndieGoGo is making this easier, please check out our project page and consider donating.

On to today's DOUBLE post.

Curb Museum for Music and Motorsports

http://mikecurb.com/image_pops/museum.htm
600 Dale Earnhardt Blvd
Kannapolis, NC 28083
704-938-6121
The Curb Museum is owned by Curb records founder Mike Curb. Curb not only has housed some of the hottest acts in country, but they have sponsored some of the hottest racers! This museum is a great combination of music and motorsports, and definitely worth a visit. It is free to visit!
Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm
The VisitCabarrus webpage does a better job explaining the museum than I can and I recommend looking at their site for more information.

Dale Earnhardt Plaza (Statue of Dale Earnhardt)
Located on Main Street between Streets A and B
After checking out the motorsports museum you may want to make your way over to the statue of Dale Earnhardt. The statue was created by sculptor Clyde Ross.
