Downtown after Dark

There isn't much to do in downtown Kannapolis after dark and it's beautiful because of it.
Walking through downtown late at night is like walking through an old movie about a small town.

The shops are empty and the only other people around are those who are slowly milling out of the Gem theater. The streets are well lit and the only noise is the music Forty Six keeps playing outside all night long. I never walk alone, but if you prefer the quiet time, police officers cruise the streets all night long and the area is open.

Take the one you love and have a free date night: there are benches and tables tucked away so that you can easily take a picnic and the entire downtown turns into a private restaurant for two.

Make girls night good for you and walk together along the beautiful old shops and research campus. It's great to catch up with each other in a setting that allows for casual, quiet conversation.

I recommend walking around downtown after 10pm at least once a week.
