Sunday Splurges

Now that the holidays are over I will be updating on a DAILY basis and a recent contact at the city of Kannapolis has been VERY helpful in getting me information.

Sunday Splurges will be the only constant theme beyond Tasty Tuesday's. While I am usually all for inexpensive fun, sometimes you have to pamper yourself.

Did you know there is a winery in Kannapolis? That beautiful Durham home they saved years ago has finally been repurposed.

I have to admit I have yet to make it out to Old Stone Vino, but I am very excited to visit. I want you guys to let me know about your experiences!

I call it a splurge but prices listed on the menu at http://www.oldstonevino.com are very reasonable. Flat bread pizzas start at $6 and entrees are $15 and include soup and salad!

Tuesdays they have free wine tastings, they also advertise Thursday Beer Day with $3 beers.

I missed Tasty Tuesday

Due to the Holiday weekend I missed Tasty Tuesday so I am going to make it up to you.

Cook Out
South Cannon Blvd
http://www.cookoutnc.com/
Cookout is a new chain restaurant located out of North Carolina. They recently expanded quite a bit and now have a website with full menu available.

The Kannapolis Cookout location has not been open very long, but there is rarely a time the lines are nto wrapped around the building. The food is always served fast and hot.

Every week the Kannapolis location offers a $.99 milkshake of a different flavor.

Best $.99 menu options in the state! $4.25 trays include main items, 2 sides and a drink. Want corn dog and chicken nuggets as your sides? They do that! Want onion rings and fries? They do that!

Keep in mind chicken nuggets are not a whole order as a side, there are 3. You get 2-3 onion rings. You get the  most for your money with corn dog and fries as your sides!
